These terms and conditions apply between you, the User of this Website (including any sub-domains, unless expressly excluded by their own terms and conditions), and Lanie Philippe, the owner and operator of this Website. Please read these terms and conditions carefully, as they affect your legal rights. Customer Information
5. As your child’s parent or guardian, it is your responsibility to:
Registration
6. You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.
7. You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provide when registering by updating your personal details to ensure we can communicate with you effectively.
8. We may suspend or cancel your registration with immediate effect for any reasonable purposes or if you breach these terms and conditions.
9. You may cancel your registration at any time by informing us in writing to the address at the end of these terms and conditions. If you do so, you must immediately stop using the Website. Cancellation or suspension of your registration does not affect any statutory rights.
Term Fees
10. When booking a dance course, bookings are made for the whole term, not for part of the term
11. All fee payments should be made at the time of booking
12. If your child joins part way through a term, we will charge you a pro-rata fee
13. You will be notified of new term payments 5 weeks before the new term starts
14. All fees should be paid 2 weeks before the term start date to guarantee your child’s place
15. Late payment will occur a £15 admin charge
16. We offer a 10% discount for siblings
Uniforms
17. It is important that children wear their dance uniform to each lesson. It will help them feel confident and part of the class. T-shirt uniforms are available to purchase through our online shop.
Taster Class
18. If your child is attending our classes for the first time, they are entitled to 1 FREE taster class
19. Once they have tasted classes at our club, they cannot try the same class again at a later date should they chose not to join straight away
20. Your child can trial a different class at our club as per the terms and conditions outlined above
Cancellations and Refunds
21. If you cancel the course 2 weeks before the new term begins, you will receive a full refund for your term payments
22. If you cancel the course 1 week before the new term begins, you will receive a 50% refund for your term payments
23. If you cancel the course 6 days before the new term begins or anytime after that, you won’t be eligible for refund
24. If you miss a class, we do not offer refunds or makeup classes
25. In the case of long-term illness, we will ask for a doctors note and provide you with a pro-rata refund
Attendance
26. A responsible parent or guardian must contact us if your child cannot attend a class for any reason
27. If your child doesn’t attend a class after 4 consecutive weeks without any contact from a parent or guardian, we have the right to remove them from the class list
28. If we, Rize Dance Academy, need to rearrange a class due to staff sickness, health epidemic, venue maintenance issue or any other unforeseen circumstance, we will re-arrange this session*
*This session may take place on a different day/date, or at a different venue. We will write to you with the details.
Feedback and Complaints
29. We take all feedback and complaints very seriously
30. If you wish to make a complaint, please make this in writing here. Although you can speak to your child’s coach about any issues or concerns you have, if you wish to have your complaint addressed, it MUST be made in writing
31. We will look at your complaint and get back to you with an initial response within two working days
32. We aim to fully resolve your complaint within seven working days. However, it may take longer depending on the issue you’ve raised. We take complaints on a case by case basis and will discuss specific timescales with you if we cannot resolve this within seven working days.

– Ensure that all medications for your child are brought along to classes
– Ensure that your emergency contact details are up to date
– We aim to make our classes available to all. We ask that you notify us before booking a class or trial if your child needs any additional support. This will allow us to discuss your child’s needs. Please note we cannot provide one to one support.
– We will only share your child’s information with staff at Rize Dance Company
Registration
Term Fees
